There is a P.A. just beside your D.A. (so the difference between the two is, where D.A is the Domain Authority. It gives you a score of how the domain is doing, based on SERPs. P.A. is the Page Authority that will tell you how well the individual page is doing. P.A score differs a few points from page-to-page, depending on multiple off-page as well as on-page factors.

Tip: Many websites may not function properly with the bar or just in case the whole bar bugs you. You could simply click on the Moz icon and it will go away, still enabling you to see the D.A.

So there is one more indicator known as Spam Score besides P.A.

Spam Score represents the percentage of sites with have similar features that Moz found to be penalized or banned by Google. Spam Score is based on machine learning model which identified 27 common features among the millions of banned or penalized sites.

So what is a good Domain Authority?

You must be thinking that a good Domain Authority score would be somewhere around 100. Right?
Well, it certainly is not.

D.A. is a relative metric, not an absolute one. Judge your score compared to that of your competitors.
It is extremely important to judge the D.A. Score the right way.

With these changes, Moz can now improve correlations, remove spam, and most importantly, update D.A. relative to all the changes that Google makes.

Well, according to all the statements by Moz, they have warned to expect some minor fluctuations in your Website Domain authority due to D.A. 2.0. And let us make peace with it. Even if it increases or decreases, this is the new score bade in a better set of algorithms.

What should we do?

Just as we said previously, use DA as a relative metric, not an absolute one.
Domain Authority does not hold much importance when it isn’t compared to other sites.
It does not matter whether your site drops or increases. The relativity to your competitors matters. So compare the difference with your competitors and see whether the decreases or increases are relative to them.

Second, be prepared.
Prepare yourself to explain your clients, colleagues, and everyone about this new update.
